Ledvana Essentials is a free desktop accounting app for Windows, available on the Microsoft Store. It is the free edition of Ledvana and covers the everyday books of one company with up to two users.

Why a desktop app?
Your books are stored locally on your PC. There is no account to create and no monthly fee, and you can back up and restore in one click. If you later need IFRS 9, IFRS 16, payroll, approvals, cloud multi-user or the AI assistant, Ledvana Pro adds them and your data carries over.
Limits, honestly

Yes. It is free to download and use from the Microsoft Store, with no trial clock, subscription or ads.
Which Windows versions does it run on?
Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Does it need the internet?
No for everyday bookkeeping; data is stored on your PC. Internet is only used for optional lookups such as exchange rates.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Ledvana Pro adds advanced features and keeps your existing data.
