Is Ledvana only cheaper, or actually different?
Both. Price is one-time $129.99 for Pro versus monthly subscriptions elsewhere, and the product is a Windows desktop app with local data, offline day-to-day use, a free Essentials edition, and built-in IFRS 9 / IFRS 16 in Pro.
Does Ledvana replace QuickBooks or Xero completely?
Only if a Windows desktop workflow fits you. Cloud tools win on browser/phone access, automatic bank feeds and large app marketplaces. Ledvana wins on offline desktop ownership, one-time pricing and built-in IFRS modules.
Where is Ledvana weaker?
No browser or phone app, no automatic bank feeds, and a smaller ecosystem of third-party apps than QuickBooks, Xero or Zoho.
Is the free edition enough for a firm client?
Essentials covers everyday books for one company and up to two users. IFRS 9, IFRS 16, payroll, consolidation and approvals need Pro.
