Privacy policy

Publisher: Wicked System Studio ("we", "us"). This policy covers Ledvana (Pro and Essentials) and this website. Leasevana and Forevana may publish their own notices in the app or Store listing. Contact: ledvana@wickedsystemstudio.com.

1. Summary

Ledvana is a Windows desktop accounting and ERP application. By default your data stays on your computer. We do not show ads, run analytics or telemetry in the app, or sell your data. Data leaves your PC only for the optional features described below, when you use them.

2. Data stored on your device

Ledvana stores what you enter in a local database on your PC (%APPDATA%\Ledvana), which may include company and accounting records, customer and supplier details, employee and payroll data, app user names with hashed passwords and optional 2FA secrets, and backup files you create. This data is not sent to us. You control it and are responsible for its lawful collection and for protecting your device and backups.

3. Cloud multi-user (Pro, optional)

If you turn on cloud multi-user, the company you choose to share is stored on our cloud server hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the Mumbai (India) region, so invited colleagues can work on it. We store the shared company data, user account details (name, email, hashed credentials) and technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Connections use HTTPS. Access is limited to people you invite and to us where needed to operate, secure or support the service. You can stop sharing and ask us to delete cloud data at any time. If you never turn cloud on, nothing is stored on our servers.

4. AI assistant (Pro only, optional)

When you ask the AI assistant a question, Ledvana sends your question and a minimised summary of the relevant figures (not your whole database) to an AI provider to produce an answer. Depending on your settings this goes through our service to providers such as Groq or Google Gemini, or directly to a provider using your own API key. Those providers process the request under their own terms. Do not include data in questions that you do not want processed this way. The AI assistant is not used unless you use it.

5. Public data lookups

When you use the related features, Ledvana fetches public data over HTTPS, such as IMF macroeconomic data, exchange rates and benchmark interest rates. These requests contain only the query (for example a country or currency code), not your books. Those sites may log technical information such as your IP address.

6. Microsoft Store and licences

For Store installs, purchases, trials and licence checks are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We receive aggregate sales reports, not your financial data. Licence keys bought directly from us are checked offline against an identifier computed on your PC that is not sent to us. If you buy directly, we keep the purchase details you give us (name, email, company, payment reference) to issue and support your licence and meet legal obligations.

7. Support and this website

If you email us, we use your message and contact details only to respond. This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers; our web server keeps standard access logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security, for a limited time.

8. Security

Ledvana supports passwords, roles, optional 2FA and local backups. Keep Windows secured, use disk encryption where possible and store backups safely. We cannot recover data lost on your device.

9. Children

Our apps are business software not directed at children under 13.

10. Your rights

You can view, export, correct or delete local data in Ledvana or by deleting its data folder and backups. For data we hold (cloud, purchases, support), email ledvana@wickedsystemstudio.com to request access, correction or deletion. You may also have rights under laws that apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and material changes will be noted on this page.
